Abraham Lichtenbaum was born in Buenos-Aires and graduated from the Jewish Teacher‘s Seminary there. He studied education and literature in Buenos-Aires and did graduate work in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. He was the director of the Sholem-Aleichem High School for 25 years and for 18 years conducted a Yiddish radio program in Buenos-Aires. Since 1994 he directs the YIVO in Argentina. He has been invited to teach in Vilna, Warsaw, Germany, New York, Montreal and Toronto. He now has a Yiddish radio program on Radio Seferad.Read More
